I have had a great life walking with the Lord. I was blessed as a child to grow up in the Church. Even before I knew and accepted Jesus for myself, His impact on my life was tremendous. My mother made sure we were in church service every week. My father was called to be a Pastor when I was 12. Between these two factors in life, I was inundated with the Word of God and Jesus from an early age. For over 30 years now, I have called Jesus my Lord. That walk has been a lot of stumbling. Through all of it, though, I know the Lord never left me. He always made His presence known. I don’t think my walk with the Lord really took off until I married my wife Janni. She has put up with a lot but has been with me the whole way. She really has made me a better person. I think the Lord used her and my daughters to really draw me to seek His truth. For 25 years now I have been studying His Word. As my father was hospitalized near the end of his life, I spent a lot of time in the hospital with him. It was here that I started reading the Bible from cover to cover. I’ve now been able to read it through many times and spend time deeply studying what He has to say. He has put a passionate love of His Word in me. The deeper I go, the more simple I see that it is. It is with this passion that I occasionally add thoughts to these pages that have touched me or grown me or corrected me. I hope you enjoy and get something out of the thoughts I have put on these pages.
